Honours students are actively involved in publishing the Wall Magazine (2014-15) on ‘Anweshwan’.

Seminar / Workshop Conducted

  • Department under headship of Dr. Sovona Ghosh organized a two day's U.G.C. sponsored National Seminar on “Analokito Upendrakishor Shardho shoto borsher Aloy” March 4-5, 2013, which was attended by 110 scholars including Prof. Amitava Chakraborty, Dr. Parthajit Gangopadhaya, Prof. Satyabati Giri, prof. Shekhar Samaddar, Prof. Shyamal Chakraborty, Prof. Subhendu Dasmunsi, Prof. Gopa Dutta Bhowmick, Prof. Rushati Sen, Prof. Angshuman Kar, Prof. Pinakesh Sarkar, Sri. Debasish Mukhopadhaya and Prof. Uday Chakraborty.

    • Inauguration of two seminar proceedings

  • On Saturday, the 21st of December 2013, at 12:00 noon, the inauguration of the two seminar proceedings took place in the Department of Bengali, Dhruba Chand Halder College, in the presence of the college principal along with the college teachers and the students of Bengali department.

  • Department has conducted an extension activities in Dakhsineswar Temple along with students and few professors in 2015. Theme of activities was ‘Clean your temple in order to make your mind clean’
