ABOUT PHYSICS DEPARTMENT

Physics was taught as a general paper of 3 yr. B.Sc. General course since 1985.
In 2013, Physics Honours  course was opened.
To establish  a new setup for Physics Honours Course was a tedious job. Our Principal being a teacher of Physics helped a lot to setup the department into a modern well equipped department. The departmental teachers and the students worked hard to setup the department.
A new Laboratory was created to fulfill the needs of the Honours Practical classes. A dark-room and two classrooms were also developed for the Honours students.
Though the Hons. Depatment is a new born child, the dept. took the chllange that they may pass out with a best academic results.
The result of the department shows  the trend of good academic environment.
